Other Notes: This figure is actually the third “Kendaman” figure according to the M.U.S.C.L.E. poster. However, because it was the first version of the Kinnkikuman version it is still referred to as Kendaman A. The Kinnikuman name is based on the Japanese toy known as Kendama, which North Americans, and fans of the TV show Family Guy, may know as Cup and Ball or Balero.

I bought a 250 kunnikuman lot in Japan. I pulled out a Kendaman but instead of his head being connected by plastic, it is connected by string. I’ve never seen this version before. Is it rare?

The best rule with M.U.S.C.L.E. is to never assume something is special or rare.
As for your figure, if you bought it in Japan then there is a 99.9% chance you have some Japanese Kinnikuman figure and not a M.U.S.C.L.E. figure.
