A seller named hermanns_attic has listed two of the most interesting current M.U.S.C.L.E. auctions. The first auction, Fleshy 1980’s M.U.S.C.L.E. Men Monster Figures ~ Bandai, is a group of counterfeit figures M.U.S.C.L.E. figures. They appear to be the same type as Group J from Art 100.
The starting price seems fair enough, but the shipping is simply exorbitant which negates any likelihood of someone buying the figures. The seller also makes the official cliché statement when a seller is unfamiliar with the product they are selling:
There are a few in this collection that I can’t seem to find in the photos. I wonder if these are rare figures or unreleased prototypes?

The second auction, 37 M.U.S.C.L.E. Men Monster Figures by Bandai, 1980’s, is a lot of Flesh figures which includes Satan Cross. The seller has done a tremendous job photographing all of the figures in the lot. The buyer is not only able to look for discoloring and/or marks, but also how well the figure stands up.
The seller started with a decent price of $9.99 and here the shipping charge is quite reasonable. With the enticing starting bid and inclusion of Satan Cross the auction has already grabbed several bids.
Based on the Satan Cross auctions that have been recently highlighted it seems reasonable to expect the Satan Cross figure to sell for approximately $30. The 36 additional figures become the unknown variable. Will buyers price each figure under $0.50, at $0.50, or even at $1 each?
The excellent pictures will likely help encourage buyers to spend a bit more on the remaining figures. This auction’s ending price will likely be approximately $60.

Follow-Up: These auctions offered two surprises. The first auction, predicted not to sell, actually had one bid and was sold. The $3 price tag was fair and the exorbitant shipping appeared not to be an issue. The second auction was a much bigger surprise – ending approximately $30 higher than anticipated. This price is completely out of line with other recent Satan Cross auctions, but illustrates the oddity surrounding Satan Cross.
