Mini-torial: I hate being sick. Not cough-cough-jeez-this-is-inconvenient sick, but totally-passed-out-dead-to-the-world sick. It’s like being in the worst time machine ever. You finally collapse in bed, after trying to ignore being sick, and then its three days later.
If there is a bright side to being that sick, then it’s not caring about anything. Any stress you might have had simply disappears. Worried about work? Not anymore. Worried about posting something on the website? Not anymore.
Of course, it all comes crashing back down on you when you finally wake up. I hate being sick.
Less than 12 hours left in arguably one of the most exciting M.U.S.C.L.E. auctions ever. I think the last few seconds are going to be very interesting!I was going to feature this in Auction Watch, but I got sick. Plus, could there possibly be a M.U.S.C.L.E. collector left that doesn’t know about this auction.
Unless some M.U.S.C.L.E. collector has been crazy sick. Wouldn’t that be the worst? Especially if you’re the type of M.U.S.C.L.E. collector that would bid on an item like this. Just imagine – you wake up Saturday morning, only to find this auction has ended. For a M.U.S.C.L.E. collector it almost has a Twilight Zone quality to it.
– Having fun doing something does not make it “art.”
– Heeey, Macarena!
– Do you need the SCAT variant? Here he is.
– This is the version that looks like he stepped in it.
– 215 figures.
– 80 figures.
– Shit lot, but I like the warpped #19.
– The 69 made me laugh. The $49 made me sad.
– With $32 for shipping I can see the bids being a bit low.
– I’m not a chibi collector, but this seems like a good lot.
– 4 figures from the low, low price of $14.99.
I think I’ve posted something from TheOverlookHotel.com before. If I haven’t I should have. I’m not a super fan of The Shining, although I certainly think it’s a great movie. But the more and more I read about it the more that it sucks me in – there’s just so much there.
Anyways, I thought this picture was pretty awesome. I had always assumed that the picture of Nicholson at the end had actually been taken for the movie. To find out an original picture had been used and re-touched is amazing to me. In a pre-Photoshop world it’s amazing that the final shot works so well. I never once thought it was anything but an original picture.
