Monday Morning M.U.S.C.L.E. Musings #7

This week’s edition of MMMM centers around the somewhat mysterious figure know as Satan Cross. This may come as a shock but, to me, Satan Cross was seen only as a figure needed to complete a flesh set of M.U.S.C.L.E. figures. I didn’t have any interest in the high price of the figure ($39 at the time) and the sculpt didn’t grab me as particularly cool.

Fast forward to my days of collecting Romando figures and I decided to pay $55 for a Satan Cross Romando in white and green coloring. I just thought it was worth having in the collection – pad up the Romando’s a bit. That all changed when I received my Satan Cross Romando. The figure is absolutely awesome!

Why?

It’s VERY large and solid, can pose as two figures or one huge figure, plus, it stood out. Suddenly, Satan Cross was cool in my opinion. So I did what I always do and went all-out finding as many variations as I could find. I collected Kinkeshi parts, Chojin Power, SD Kinkeshi and some nice customs that give a hint of what a Satan Cross would be like in M.U.S.C.L.E. colors Magenta & Purple. Then I added the Blue Romando just because it’s awesome as well.

What do I now think of the M.U.S.C.L.E. Satan Cross? Well, my opinion has changed from “don’t pay a fortune for it, as it’s quite common, but still get it for your flesh set” to “don’t pay a fortune for it, as it’s quite common, but still get it for your flesh set and make sure you get some of the other Satan Cross figures out there as you won’t be disappointed!”

Get them soon before someone reads this article and snaps them all from under your nose.
