About five years ago, I gave up. Stop. That is far too melodramatic.
About five years ago I shared the last piece of M.U.S.C.L.E. information I ever “hid.” I had created the website to make all known M.U.S.C.L.E. information available to anyone that wanted it. I hated the idea of holding back knowledge then and I hate it even more today.
The information I was holding back was a name: Joe Morrison. I feared that he would receive a tsunami of terrible inquiries from a bunch of jackasses.
“Do you have any figures left?”
“Can I have some figures?”
M.U.S.C.L.E. collectors did not have the best reputation for handling things calmly and politely. It appears that my fears were entirely unfounded. Even if a few inquiries were made it certainly did not do any damage.
Less than a year later, and to my utter amazement, I finally spoke to Mr. Morrison and was able to share the results. It is easily my favorite M.U.S.C.L.E. memory.
I am not responsible for it, but I think there has been a shift away from secrecy. Broadly I think M.U.S.C.L.E. collectors share more information than ever. But there is always room for improvement.
