Five years ago, about this time, I was wishing people a Happy Thanksgiving. The previous year I had wished specific people, which had helped the site the previous year, a Happy Thanksgiving. I legitimately couldn’t do it again. Once the site got going it was impossible to thank all the people that had helped, commented, or sent in pictures. I felt bad, but also kind of excited that the site seemed to be working. “Working” could be argued, but it was working enough for me.
A few days later Kyle’s Sociology 300 write-up was posted and that is MUCH cooler to talk about.
There were two things that I really enjoyed about Kyle’s post. The first was his pictures. He shot interesting, clear, well lit pictures. That combination makes it very hard to look away. I was going to say that I had a favorite picture and then share it in this write-up.
The truth is that I couldn’t pick just one. Click one of the pictures and it will take you to the rest of them. But here are two to get you started.
The other thing that I liked is the Kyle too the process really seriously. It led to him sharing a lot of great information. I loved hearing about his childhood M.U.S.C.L.E. experiences, his advice for collectors, and his nephew. It ended up giving a very clear Past, Present, and Future to his M.U.S.C.L.E. collecting.
And with The Force Awakens getting so close, I find myself loving the details from the original even more. Look at how much tension builds before Vader enters.
