This is the least damaging my past behaviors have ever been. There are way more serious things I wish I could stop my past self from doing. But that’s too deep of a rabbit hole to go down.
Handmade Disappointment
Sure, I was trying to keep everything objective and third person – but I cringe every time I think about this post. Ugh.
Environmental Sciences was a pretty stupid idea too. I’m pretty happy with the Simple Green/409 and Boiling Figures posts, but as a “course” it is ridiculously stupid. How many interesting experiments could actually be done?
UofM Auctions is another black eye. My heart was in the right place, but I was biting off way more than I could chew. This site was never going to be an auction site. It was never a goal. I think I was drunk with possibility.
Jesus, after looking at those blunders I’m torn. Is it better to put together a shit-pile or do nothing?

With Environmental Sciences, you could re-try the faded figure experiment if you can get high-concentration hydrogen peroxide and a place that’s continuously sunny. My results were inconclusive if you recall.
The Peroxide I used, however, was the regular store-bought kind and not the kind you can get at the health food store that is highly concentrated.
