Thumb Wrestlers

For a long time the counterfeit Thumb Wrestlers were only mentioned in Epilogues; often pointing out over-priced listings. Sellers often want $20 per figure but they sit unsold. A fair price is in the $5 to $10 range. That’s what finally added the figure to my collection. I picked up the figure to the right for $5.

I was actually disappointed when the figure arrived. I thought the thumb wrestlers were larger. It made the often-asked $20 price tag even funnier to me. That’s why I thought it might be helpful to share some basic information with collectors.

These figures are not enlarged keshi or M.U.S.C.L.E. figures. They are direct copies of the 4-inch Deka kinkeshi figures. Professor Terry, with the help of other collectors, put together a complete Deka Checklist.

These figures were cast in two distinct types of materials. There is the harder plastic, like the Green figure, and a softer flexible material (as seen below).

There wasn’t a complete listing of the colors available for these counterfeit figures. So I did some digging on littlerubberguys.com to curate all the colors I could find. The pictures of the flexible figures came from their too.

At a minimum, he colors available are: Green, Blue, Orange, Brown, Red, Yellow, and Flesh.

If you have any undocumented Thumb Wrestlers, then please send email them in and we can add to our Art 100 visual archive of counterfeit Thumb Wrestlers.

Thanks in advance!
