I have been shocked looking at the website’s traffic lately. There seems to be increased bot activity, but Facebook matters for the first time. Historically traffic came from people coming directly to the site, Googling it, Instagram, and LRG. They may have shifted around, but those were the four pillars.
I kept doing Facebook because I thought, “Maybe that helps Google and people coming directly.”
I would have quit Facebook years ago. I fucking hate it; intensity of a thousand white-hot suns hate it. But I have to give credit to Facebook M.U.S.C.L.E. Collectors group. They seem to be, significantly, increasing traffic.
They only thing that surprises me is the lack of the most basic M.U.S.C.L.E. knowledge. This was the post that really surprised me.
I’m not picking on the guy. It’s an easy mistake.
But the the correlation between increased traffic and unknown basics shocks me. Nate’s site was like a bible to me. I think I remember the second version, but maybe it was the first.
