Art 200 – Drawings, Paintings, Etc. – 2002

This subsection section of Art 200 attempts to collect all the know fan art, in the format of drawings, from 2002.

Jon Karis was kind enough to provide many fan art drawings from his Kinnikuman website. It was difficult deciding which pictures were considered Kinnikuman versus M.U.S.C.L.E. Only a handful of the pictures he shared were not chosen. The pictures he sent mark an interesting shift with M.U.S.C.L.E. Many new, younger people are being introduced to M.U.S.C.L.E. from their interest in Ultimate M.U.S.C.L.E. and the Japanese anime/manga Kinnikuman and its spin-offs. The influx of new M.U.S.C.L.E. artists appears to be starting in 2002.

AFAIK, my art (John Morey) and the Kevin Mayle Akumashogun art are all 2000 or earlier. Mine was 2000 (at least when I uploaded it) for sure, and Mayle’s may have been a little earlier.
