Website Review #12 showed that new M.U.S.C.L.E. content can be found on YouTube. Surprisingly, some new M.U.S.C.L.E. content can also be found on a popular website – Facebook. Website Review #13 examines the Facebook page called, M.U.S.C.L.E. Men Krew (MMK).

Content: 4 out of 5
Most people have heard one saying or another that essentially states, “if you focus on what you love, then you’ll be successful.” The M.U.S.C.L.E. Men Krew seems to following that idea. On their page they posted a mission-like statement:
Here you can post M.U.S.C.L.E. Men pictures in random places… just for FUN 😉
And that is exactly what the page provides – fun. There is no attempt to be overly artsy. Perfectionism isn’t the goal either. Instead the pictures convey people simply having some fun with M.U.S.C.L.E. figures. The webpage doesn’t attempt to overextend itself. It simply shares fun M.U.S.C.L.E. pictures.
This webpage provides a respite for M.U.S.C.L.E. collectors that feel burned out or frustrated. There is no discussion of figure value, auction prices, rarity, or any of the other topics that can frustrate collectors. Any webpage that provides unadulterated fun should be an exciting discovery for M.U.S.C.L.E. collectors.
The only aspect that detracts from the content of the webpage is that some of the pictures occasionally lack a “title” or context for the picture. There isn’t a need for a long narrative, but a little bit of information could go a long way into making the picture even more enjoyable – instead of just a figure in a living room.
Design: 5 out of 5
It seemed unfair to rate the design anything but a score of five. It is easy to navigate, easy to participate, and easy to view the pictures. That is almost entirely through the work of Facebook, but not a reason to downgrade the score.
Pictures: 5 out of 5
There are two paths a viewer of the pictures can take when viewing the pictures. The first is that the pictures aren’t perfect. They seem haphazardly taken and are occasionally out of focus. Taking this path is not wrong, but it cheats the viewer out of the fun and enjoyment of the page.
The second path simply enjoys the access to regularly updated, fun M.U.S.C.L.E. pictures. This path allows the viewer to see the pictures as something they would do with their friends. Ultimately these pictures should help viewers reconnect with the fun of M.U.S.C.L.E. they experienced as a child.
Some of the more inimitable examples of photographs are listed below:
Overall: 5 out of 5
One thing the M.U.S.C.L.E. community could always use is more fun. This Facebook page provides nothing but fun. Every picture may not be a perfect work of art, but it will likely provide a moment of M.U.S.C.L.E. fun to every M.U.S.C.L.E. collector.
