Auction Watch #30
Posted by Chad Perry in Auction Watch, UofM News on February 3rd, 2010
The M.U.S.C.L.E. poster has been mentioned several times within the University of M.U.S.C.L.E. The most notable examples are within the 28-Pack Poster Offer and with the clarification that there are only only 2 posters. Hopefully the Advertising & Promotion 100 course, highlighting the poster, will be completed soon. In the meantime, this auction for a “Color” poster is worth highlighting.
New Nestle Quik Figures

The University of M.U.S.C.L.E. recently featured two sealed M.U.S.C.L.E. figures from the Nestle Quik promotion in Auction Watch #28. The winner of those two auctions, Bill R. (vette88 from LRG.com), was kind enough to take a picture of each of the sealed figures. These figures have been added to Advertising & Promotion 300.

Auction Watch #29
Posted by Chad Perry in Auction Watch, UofM News on January 27th, 2010
Normally the appearance of a Spinning Head Ashurman (SHA) brings a fair amount of anticipation and wonder to the M.U.S.C.L.C. community. This SHA auction could currently be the least well received auction for a “Super Rare” figure – which begs the question, “Why is this auction being met with such cynicism?”

Wolf Voigt Custom Figure Review
Posted by Chad Perry in Art, UofM News on January 22nd, 2010
Art 100 highlights creators who simply mimicked the M.U.S.C.L.E. figures. Art 200 highlights Marty Hansen and his attempt to create custom pieces of art for M.U.S.C.L.E. collectors. When Wolf Voigt’s custom figures started to appear and get noticed by the M.U.S.C.L.E community it was not immediately clear which, if any, course classification he deserved. A review of one of his figures might help clear up that confusion.
