Diligence and resourcefulness are two of the most important qualities in a M.U.S.C.L.E. collector. This auction, BIG LOT Vintage 1980s Toys McD’s & Other Snorkels Smurf, is a great example of using those qualities to find M.U.S.C.L.E. figures.
While the auction description highlights several of the available toys in the lot it fails to mention M.U.S.C.L.E. However, closer inspection reveals, at least, two M.U.S.C.L.E. figures in the lot: Red #141 and Magenta #136.
Usually one or two M.U.S.C.L.E. figures in a random lot are not worth pursuing. Magenta #136 might be a figure worth pursing. It might not be the most popular sculpt, but for collectors trying to complete a set of Color figures it can be a more difficult figure to obtain – not rare, but not as easy as a Flesh #1.
It is very hard to predict the final price of this auction with the inclusion of Snorkels, McDonald’s toys, and several other brands. Predicting the competing bidders and the potential value of the other items makes it almost impossible. In an effort to still present an estimate, a guess of less than $20 will be ventured as the final price.
Follow-Up: The auction sold for $10.50.
