The first auction, Huge lot of 125 + Muscle Men Collectible Action Figures, looks to be a lot of over 125
counterfeit figures. This type of counterfeit figure has been seen numerous times by M.U.S.C.L.E. collectors, although this may be the largest single grouping ever seen.
Based on the auction title and description it appears that the seller is not 100% certain what is being sold. For collectors interested in these figures this could be worrisome. Thankfully cairovideo’s feedback is solid enough that customer satisfaction is likely a priority.
Recently, The University of M.U.S.C.L.E. has struggled to accurately predict the final price of counterfeit figures. Overall, it appears that UofM has overvalued collectors’ interest in counterfeit figures. Because of these previous overestimations, the final price is predicted to be $34.50.
The second auction, Vintage M.U.S.C.L.E. Figures Lot, includes an empty 10-pack garbage can, four Flesh figures, a Red figure, and a Satan Cross. Upon initial inspection there are no immediate red flags. However, the short, nondescript auction description could leave some buyers feeling uneasy.

Sadly the photo does not fully showcase the Satan Cross figure. Compounding the uneasiness nosmallmoon’s feedback has several complaints from buyers, with the most recent buyers specifically upset by the auction picture.
The final price of the second auction will be $29.00.
Follow-Up: This post had been prepared on May 18th. When it was prepared there was not a Buy-It-Now option for the second auction. It would appear that a buyer contacted the seller and offered a Buy-It-Now scenario of $25. Clearly the seller accepted the offer. The Buy-It-Now was $4 less than the predicted $29 final auction price.
The first auction has ended with a final price of $41.00, which is $6.50 more than predicted. The slight bump in price may have been due to the recent interest in counterfeit M.U.S.C.L.E. figures.
