2. You get what you pay for.
Those were the lessons learned for version 1.0 of “The School Store.” Thankfully it is easy to implement changes that build on those learnings, especially with the upcoming OMFG release (which seems to be a total lock at this point).
The most important thing for customers is that the store is now safe, secure, and painfully easy to use. Those crucial changes were possible because The School Store is now using the Big Cartel shopping cart.
The only downside is that The School Store isn’t “pretty” yet. Hopefully a contest, with an enticing prize, will allow some “prettying up.” Details about the contest should be coming soon.
In the meantime, The School Store can still be accessed from the tab at the top of the page.
