At one point or another just about every color had been considered: a bright red, a plain white, an oddly disgusting green (Pantone color 111C), and even the M.U.S.C.L.E. board game purple color. Sadly none of those colors were selected.
Instead the inspiration came from wanting to do something new and different – like the OMFG figures themselves. Something that would hopefully appeal not only to M.U.S.C.L.E. collectors or Monster In My Pocket figures, but to the widest audience of toy collectors.
Plus, my family had to like it. My wife and both of my sons agreed that this color was the best choice. It is an orangish-yellowish. It seemed bright, different, and something that would photograph well (fingers crossed on the last one). The color also struck me as original, but somehow fitting within the classic monochromatic mini-figures of M.U.S.C.L.E. and Monster In My Pocket.
I hope everyone likes it.
The figures will be available for purchase through The School Store. Once the packaging is finalized they should be available for pre-order.

Very cool. Can’t wait to see what kind of packaging and art you come up with.
