In November of 2005 M.U.S.C.L.E. collectors were given a rather large surprise. Satan Cross was featured in one of the many blurbs that peppered the ToyFare price guide.
At the time, collectors were concerned that the mention of the $36 price could be problematic for the hobby. There was concern that prices might be pushed higher. However, at the time, that $36 price was well within the norm for the time.
