I’ve had a tough time starting this Epilogue. I had a boring personal opening. Then I had a boring, more general opening. I didn’t like either of them, and I don’t know that this is much better.
So let’s jump right into eBay.
– An awesome grab-bag starting at $0.99.
– I hope there’s no one dumb enough to buy these figures at that price. Seriously, I need that. It will restore some faith in humanity.
– I considered AOTW, but the $1.50 isn’t bad enough. Just bad.
– I would never intentionally reuse an AOTW, but this guy made me consider it. Just for relisting it.
– I bet they were so excited to “have a Class B!” Barf.
– That’s a clip solution I’ve never seen.
– Speechless. This guys has actually sold some of the horrendous figures. Up is down. Black is white.
– Any other week, this guy makes the tournament.
– Started at $9.99; curious to see the end.
– Not enough M.U.S.C.L.E. for me, but still nice to see.
– Hahahahahaha…
– My offer – toss it in the trash.
– eBay says 18 people are watching this listing. No way.
– Still not “VERY RARE.”
The AOTW #1 is asking $29.50 for a piece of paper. Sure, it’s the cool ad from GoBots Magazine but it’s still just a piece of paper. For $10 you could get the entire magazine. I bet you could get it for even less with some patience.
I do have to admit that the GoBots magazine lot made me wonder. What if Mattel/Nestle advertised only in GoBots magazine because it was SO cheap? I’ve looked in lots of magazines and comics from the time and have never seen another M.U.S.C.L.E./Nestle advertisement. Obviously, I haven’t checked everything. It might be time to, at least, deep-dive on GoBots magazine.
The AOTW #2 is hungry to be a champion. She has listed three Flesh figures with a $100 opening bid. That’s correct. She’s expecting the $100 to only be a starting point for this amazing lot of figures.
If I had magical powers, then I would use them to find out what she thinks will be the final price. And yes, that’s how I would waste my magical powers.
The AOTW #3 probably doesn’t jump off the screen. At first glance it’s just another overpriced figure with overpriced shipping. However, this seller is giving the $10 BIN price to the “#235” figure. There isn’t a “#235” figure. The #235 figure has always been considered to be the Wrestling Ring Terri-Bull. This seller has a picture of the #105 figure – not a simple mistake. They look significantly different. This seller earned their nomination for being equally stupid and greedy.
Finally, we have the AOTW #4. They have listed a Flesh #153 with a $27 BIN (plus shipping). Sure, the #153 gets a little bit more love. But $27 for a FLESH poster figure?!?!

There was sadness when our ULTIMATE AOTW Battle of the Champions Fatal-Four Way Winner #1 was no longer selling her empty box.We thought this was the fine image of our old friend.
It was painful to consider our journey was over. We watched as she started at $250. Unable to sell it, dropped down to $160. The drops continued: $149, $145, $139, $135, $125 and finally $120…for a beat-up, empty box.
When she did stop, we knew there was a zero-percent chance it actually sold. It is an empty box. M.U.S.C.L.E. collectors see crazy things, but this sale was simply impossible. Plus, there is no feedback posted by either party.
We now have irrefutable evidence the box did not sell. It has been relisted with a $150 BIN.Oh dear lord. Some other dope has “bought” the box and there is feedback from the buyer this time. Interesting that the seller didn’t leave feedback.
I think there is zero percent chance this belt has actually sold. It will be relisted. Pay attention sellers, this winner perfectly demonstrate the level-of-asshole it takes to be an ULTIMATE champion. She truly is the ULTIMATE AOTW Battle of the Champions Fatal-Four Way Winner #1.
Our inaugural champion has a very worthy companion.
The initial listing for the $3 figure was for $1500. The entire story was covered in AW #284. Apparently, there’s still a little more to add. The figure is STILL for sale with a $100 BIN.
This seller probably could be a repeat winner with their other listings.
An original SHA, with the head spur still attached, in the original Flesh color was sold for about $185. This seller is attempting to sell a yellow, headless version for $1,000. That is the level of commitment needed to become the 2nd ULTIMATE AOTW Battle of the Champions Winner.Sadly, it looks like our second champion has paused their grifting efforts. I do not see the figure for sale, nor do I see any feedback.
