Holy cow. I started going through eBay and I was 10 pages in before I saw this listing. It was the first one worth pointing out. So weird.
Then I appealed for votes and didn’t get a single vote. Ugh.
This Epilogue didn’t want to be born. But let’s see what this mess can become. First, we need to break a tie. The AOTW Battle of the Champions Fatal-Four Way winner, from last week, is deadlocked. We need to break the tie. Here are the two finalists:

Last week I pointed out a Class A Dark Blue #92 figure. I failed to get an Auction Watch up, but I wanted to track it. My gut was screaming shill bidding on the last Dark Blue #92, but that’s hardly evidence.I saw that this recent DB #92 simply ended. I wondered if it had possibly been sold outside of eBay, so I contacted the seller – asking if it had been sold or something. To my surprise, twistnnum (the seller) responded and said:
No interest.
Very interesting.
I’m not going to suggest I have discovered infallible evidence. However, it sure makes the last situation stink like shit. Think about it. The only people interested in overspending for a Class A Dark Blue are “Master Set Fools” and “M.U.S.C.L.E. zealots.”
If there were only two bidders last time, then wouldn’t the other fool/zealot have picked up this figure at less than half the cost?
If they were a fool/zealot, then the only sane answer is, “Yes.” A fool/zealot wouldn’t just let this listing slip by – if they really needed the figure.
Admittedly, the shill bidding conclusion is pretty circumstantial. But two decades of watching M.U.S.C.L.E. bullshit, mixed with this situation, makes me feel pretty confident.
eBay was a hot mess this week. But one particular listing made me wonder, “How long do you list garbage?”
I’ve tracked garbage for like eight months (I swore it was longer). And we know Racer #1 listed his garbage for over three years.
I guess it shouldn’t be too surprising that this lot to the right is working on over nine months. But this is literally a pile of shit.
With some listings you could, at least, muster some type of argument for holding out. There’s nothing with this one.
I have a serious question. Is this an example of people starting to dump toys? I expected it to start happening and this sure seems like a dump lot to me. Maybe I should track “dump lots?”
There is one eBay link worth mentioning.
– 1-tallponderosa-1 has some decent, but a little strange, listings.
I had another AOTW set, but I didn’t like two of them last week. Let’s get our AOTW Battle of the Champions Fatal-Four Way winner and then we’ll get back to normal.

It looks like the DB #92 eventually sold for $14.90.
