Sociology 200 – Example #3

Whether it is a sexist preconceived notion, Mattel’s catalog, or only the lens of personal experience; many collectors simply think of M.U.S.C.L.E. figures as a “boy’s toy” instead of a toy. This modern M.U.S.C.L.E. moment captures the figures as simply toys, and reminds us of the incredible amount of creativity that M.U.S.C.L.E. figures provide a child.

Sociology 300 Participants Needed

Sociology 300 focuses on contemporary M.U.S.C.L.E. culture, specifically on adults that continue to be passionate about M.U.S.C.L.E. However, this coverage is 100% contingent on collectors’ participation.

If you would like to participate, please email the University of M.U.S.C.L.E..

Art 300 Changes

Art 300 had originally been designated as a course that would focus on professional modern artists’ work using M.U.S.C.L.E as inspiration. This topic will likely become Art 400. The new idea for Art 300 is to feature the wide array of M.U.S.C.L.E. fans and collectors that express their passion for M.U.S.C.L.E. as art.

PEZ HiWay Hauler Custom

The Hot Wheels M.U.S.C.L.E. HiWay Hauler is an item of great interest in the M.U.S.C.L.E. community. Because this prototype item is so rare, most collectors have focused on creating their own custom HiWay Haulers. The Rite Aid Pez truck seems to be the perfect base to create a custom M.U.S.C.L.E. Truck Pez dispenser.

The People vs. M.U.S.C.L.E. – Part 2

The People vs. M.U.S.C.L.E. – Part 2 follows the same framework for M.U.S.C.L.E. advertising that had been established the previous year in the two commercials. Sadly, for the final M.U.S.C.L.E. commercial there appears to be a far less focused approach. However, hardcore Color figure collectors likely view this commercial as the single greatest thirty seconds of video ever uncovered.

New Literature Discovery

Recently the University of M.U.S.C.L.E. made over a dozen new literature discoveries. Many of the discoveries may force the creation and/or complete reconstruction of the Literature courses. Sadly there have been many challenges posting comprehensive updates. However, the discovery of the November 1986 issue of Working Mother seemed too exciting not to share.

University of M.U.S.C.L.E. Update

One of the goals of the University of M.U.S.C.L.E. was to provide daily M.U.S.C.L.E.-related content. Unfortunately, there have not been any updates since February 11th. It seemed appropriate to offer an explanation.

Sociology 200 – Example #2

In late January 2010, my son’s M.U.S.C.L.E. figures had clearly been having a large adventure with his Fisher-Price Imaginext Space toys.
