Stir Up Saturday – Five Years Ago

Before my time-out I had played around with a Stir-Up Saturday. What a fucking stupid name. Why do I get so hung-up on alliteration? I have many flaws as a writer and that may be one of my greatest. However, I don’t hate it enough to change it or the tags to keep the posts together. It seems like we’re stuck with it for the foreseeable future.

On the bright side, about five years ago, around today’s date, I think there were some pretty interesting posts. If you weren’t around five years ago (or treat the posts as disposable fodder that never enter your long-term memory – good choice by the way), then check out these posts:
Sociology 300 – Lucas Rage
This may be one of the longest write-ups, but I think it’s really interesting to hear about Lucas’ perspective. I thought the pictures were really interesting too.

Website Review #9
Lucas also created some really fun M.U.S.C.L.E. videos. In my mind (which is a weird place), this post is the prequel to the AF&SCP saga.

Sociology 100 – Ben Pierce
Not much of a write-up, but some of the best retro M.U.S.C.L.E. pictures.

Sociology 100 – Matthew
I’m still fascinated by these pictures. My parents would have never let me “waste” film. To me these might be some of the only pictures of M.U.S.C.L.E. toys in their original, natural state.
