Stir Up Saturday – Perspectives

When I saw the archive update I thought, “Wow, it’s been a really long time since I’ve done a post like that.” Of course, I had to find the most recent update. It was September 21st, 2017.

Then I got stuck thinking, “Is that a long time?”

It works out to about 17 weeks. Or 122 days. Or 2928 hours. Then it dawned on me that it’s just a matter of perspective. I’m going to say it’s been a long time since I had a post like that one. (I assume reading all of that felt like it took 2,928 hours.)

AW #123 certainly started with a bang. I couldn’t find the final price. I don’t imagine it climbed my higher – but I wouldn’t have guessed $505 when I was writing it. The Class A Purple #15 drove that auction. I don’t think the Purple #56 and Salmon #210 Class B figure did much to drive the price. I still don’t understand that auction.

I wish I knew the price of that third auction too. I wish we saw more like that too.

I’m also surprised how many YouTube videos have disappeared. It feels like about half of them disappear when we look back five years. I also realized I never profiled the Hell Turtle. How did that happen?

Ugh. OMFG pain. That post is proof the “exclusives” were too numerous. Thankfully that sexy lady at the end of the post made me happy. I imagine she comforted her man after that brutal Saints loss.
