Epilogue – Week of February 10th

Wow. This might be a first. I went 20 pages into my eBay search (with 50 results per page) and there was nothing to talk about. I found four combatants, but nothing else. Nothing good. Nothing bad. Nothing to talk about.

Wow.

Looks like I’ll have to go old school today. Digging into some of the other searches I used to do almost daily.
Anyone want to make a custom German M.U.S.C.L.E. Quik tin?
Oh shit! Maybe I’ll make a custom M.U.S.C.L.E. Quik train car.
I am terrified.
Found a Dark Blue #154. I thought it was Purple for a hot second.
Haven’t seen one of these in some time, but that price seems too high.
Weird.

It was both fun and boring returning to some of those old searches. I was really killing time back in the day. I do wish that eBay’s search was a little better. If I could set something things in a particular way, then I might return to some of those old searches.

The voting from last week’s Epilogue was tied on Thursday. But with a little nudge on Twitter and Instagram broke the tie. In the end, the winner was the non-Canadian 10-Pack with a $273.21 BIN.

My current M.U.S.C.L.E. search may resulted in any listings worth talking about, but it did yield four brand-new combatants for our AOTW Fatal-Four Way. The first combatant, AOTW #1, features a Flesh #162 figure with a $32.25 BIN – plus almost $20 to ship that tiny single figure. Let that sink in…around $52.25 for a single Flesh figure.

As soon as I saw “RARE” in the title I knew the AOTW #2 stood a fighting chance. This listings is for a Class C Green #168 figure. It has a $19.99 BIN (plus $3.99 shipping).

The AOTW #3 made me do a little homework. When I saw the $14.99 BIN I knew it was a terrible price, but how terrible? Well, a brand-new 3-Pack of Super7 Iron Maiden figures costs six dollars. Wow.

Finally, the AOTW #4 listed a Class B Red #206 with a $25 BIN. As a recent point of comparison, a Purple Class A #145 figure sold for $20.50.

I expect quite a battle this week.

Since discovering that our AOTW Battle of the Champions Fatal-Four Way Winner #1 is still trying to sell his empty box, I like to check in each week.

Three weeks ago it had dropped down to $160. Two weeks ago the price was $149. Now it is sitting firm at $145. It is simply amazing.
